Which ERP is right for your business?
Six questions, an honest answer. We implement both ERPNext and Odoo, so we have no reason to push either — and if you don’t need an ERP yet, this will say so.
How the recommendation works
The answer turns mainly on three things. How many people will use the system — Odoo Enterprise is priced per user, so a company with many light users pays for each one every year, while ERPNext has no per-user fee at any scale. Which apps you need — some, like field service, helpdesk and subscriptions, exist only in Odoo Enterprise. And who will maintain it — Odoo Studio lets your own staff adjust forms without a developer, which ERPNext cannot match.

This is a starting point, not a decision. A real recommendation comes from looking at how your business actually works — which is a conversation, not a quiz. For the longer version of this reasoning, read ERPNext vs Odoo, Odoo Community vs Enterprise and what ERP actually costs.
