ERPNext in Qatar, module by module
Accounting, inventory, manufacturing, HR, POS and custom development — implemented and supported in Qatar. Call or WhatsApp +974 7406 2452.
ERPNext in Qatar is implemented as one open-source system covering accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, HR, payroll and POS, with no per-user licence at any scale. The local work is what differs: a chart of accounts an auditor here recognises, bilingual Arabic and English documents, WPS payroll output and end-of-service calculation — none of which ERPNext ships with. Implementation, not licensing, is where the cost and the risk sit.
ERPNext is an open-source ERP covering accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, manufacturing and HR in one system. There is no per-user licence at any scale, which is why it suits Qatari businesses that need many people in the system without an annual fee for each one. Haya implements, customises and supports it from Doha.

Read moreWhat ERPNext replaces
Most businesses arrive at ERPNext running four or five disconnected things: an accounting package, a stock spreadsheet, a sales WhatsApp group, a payroll file and somebody's memory. Each is fine alone. Together they disagree, and reconciling them is somebody's whole week.
One system means the sales order, the stock movement, the invoice and the ledger entry are the same event recorded once. That is the entire benefit, and it is a bigger one than any individual feature.
What implementation involves in Qatar
A default installation is not ready for a Qatari business. What we configure:
- Chart of accounts and tax treatment your auditor will accept
- Bilingual invoices and quotations that read correctly in Arabic and English
- WPS-format payroll files for salary processing through the bank
- Multi-currency for businesses buying abroad and selling in riyals
- Existing data migrated — opening balances, items, customers, suppliers
- Training run per role, because accounts and stores need different half-hours
Who we have built it for
Rental fleets, garages, trading companies, printing presses and medical centres across Doha. Brite Medical Centre and Focus Medical Centre run on ERPNext systems we implemented for appointments and billing.
The industry matters less than the shape of the operation, but experience in a sector does shorten the configuration — we already know what a rental contract or a job card needs to carry.
Common questions
Is ERPNext really free?
The software carries no licence fee and no per-user cost, which is genuine and unusual. What you pay for is implementation, hosting and support. For a company with many light users — staff who only check stock or submit timesheets — that difference compounds every year against per-user products.
How long does implementation take?
Two to four months for a small or mid-sized business in Qatar. The constraint is rarely software configuration; it is cleaning existing customer, item and balance records to the point where they can be imported, and that work can only be done by your team.
Can it be customised?
Yes — custom fields, document types, scripts, print formats and full custom apps. The important discipline is keeping changes in a separate app rather than editing core code, because that is what makes future version upgrades possible instead of freezing the system.
