IT support

One number for everything technical.

AMC contracts, remote helpdesk, on-site engineers, Microsoft 365, security and outsourced IT across Qatar. Call or WhatsApp +974 7406 2452.

In short

IT support keeps computers, servers, network, email and security working day to day — faults, updates, backups, new starters and security. The distinction worth making when comparing providers is break-fix, where you pay when something breaks, against managed support, where monitoring and maintenance aim to stop it breaking. Managed costs more monthly and usually less annually.

IT support in Qatar usually means one of two things: an annual maintenance contract covering your users and equipment, or an outsourced IT department for a business too small to employ one. Haya does both, with engineers who come to site rather than only answering a phone.

What an AMC should actually include

Contracts vary enormously and the differences are usually hidden in what is excluded. Ours are written to be readable.

  • Defined response times, with what counts as an emergency stated rather than implied
  • On-site attendance included, not billed separately every time somebody has to drive
  • Named coverage — how many users, how many machines, which servers
  • Patching, backups and antivirus managed, not merely installed and forgotten
  • A quarterly review, so problems get fixed rather than repeatedly worked around

Support that reaches the rest of your systems

Most IT problems in a small business are not really IT problems — they are a printer that will not talk to the network, an ERP that nobody was trained on, a phone system nobody can reconfigure.

Because we also implement the ERP, install the cabling and configure the PBX, a support call rarely ends in being told to contact a different supplier. That is the practical argument for one accountable local team, and it matters more on a bad day than on a good one.

Common questions

What should an IT support contract include?

Response time, coverage hours, whether on-site visits are included, and what falls outside. Compare on those four rather than headline price, and establish what "response" means — acknowledgement within four hours is a very different promise from an engineer working on it within four hours.

Who holds our passwords and backups?

You should, and this is the clause worth checking before signing anything. A provider holding the only administrator credentials and configuration backups is the practical risk when a relationship ends, regardless of how good the service was.

Can you support us without an in-house IT person?

Yes — that is most of our support work. An outsourced arrangement gives support, monitoring and planning for less than a single salary. What should stay with you is the decision-making; a provider should advise on direction rather than own it.
